Due to the nature of outdoor furniture manufacturing, materials, and logistics, please review our returns and order policy carefully before placing your order.

Change of Mind Policy

Alfresco Outdoor Living does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind.

This includes:

  • Change of colour preference
  • Change of style or design preference
  • Incorrect selection of product size or configuration
  • Changes to your outdoor area or project requirements
  • Items that no longer suit your space

We strongly recommend reviewing all product details, dimensions, finishes, materials, and specifications before confirming your order.

Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Many Alfresco Outdoor Living products are custom made or sourced specifically for each customer.

Once an order has been confirmed and production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled, modified, exchanged, or refunded.

This applies to:

  • Custom outdoor kitchens
  • Custom outdoor furniture
  • Custom dimensions
  • Custom colours and finishes
  • Special material selections
  • Made-to-order outdoor structures
  • Products sourced specifically for your project

Once production begins, materials, manufacturing time, and resources are allocated specifically to your order.

Outdoor Materials, Colours & Finishes

Outdoor furniture is manufactured using materials designed for outdoor environments. Due to the nature of these materials:

  • Colours may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, and screen settings
  • Timber products may feature natural grain variations, knots, and colour differences
  • Stone and marble products may have unique veining and natural characteristics
  • Fabrics may vary slightly between production batches
  • Outdoor finishes may naturally develop character over time depending on exposure and maintenance

These variations are considered natural characteristics of outdoor materials and are not considered defects.

Customers requiring specific colour matching or material confirmation should contact our team before ordering.

Outdoor Furniture Care & Usage

Outdoor furniture requires appropriate care and maintenance to maintain its appearance and longevity.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Following manufacturer care instructions
  • Using protective covers where recommended
  • Ensuring appropriate drainage and ventilation
  • Avoiding exposure beyond the intended product specifications

Damage caused by incorrect use, inadequate maintenance, extreme weather exposure, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered.

Weather Exposure & Outdoor Conditions

Outdoor products are designed for outdoor environments; however, no outdoor material is completely unaffected by weather conditions.

Factors including:

  • Direct sunlight
  • Coastal environments
  • Rain exposure
  • Humidity
  • Temperature changes
  • Pool chemicals
  • Salt exposure

may impact the appearance and lifespan of outdoor products.

Normal weathering, fading, patina development, or material changes over time are not considered manufacturing defects.

Delivery Policy

Delivery timeframes provided by Alfresco Outdoor Living are estimates and may vary depending on:

  • Manufacturing schedules
  • Supplier availability
  • Custom requirements
  • Freight availability
  • Delivery location
  • Weather or transport delays

We will provide updates where possible throughout the production and delivery process.

Delivery fees are non-refundable once freight arrangements have commenced or delivery services have been booked.

Where free delivery is offered, actual freight costs incurred may be deducted from any approved credit or refund amount.

Delivery Access Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate access for delivery.

Before ordering, please confirm:

  • Driveway access
  • Gate widths
  • Pathways
  • Stair access
  • Lift dimensions
  • Outdoor area access
  • Assembly requirements

Alfresco Outdoor Living is not responsible for unsuccessful delivery due to restricted access.

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Re-delivery
  • Additional labour requirements
  • Special access arrangements
  • Waiting time caused by access issues

Damaged or Faulty Items

All products are inspected and carefully packaged before dispatch.

If your order arrives damaged or has a manufacturing issue, you must notify Alfresco Outdoor Living within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Photos of the packaging
  • Photos/videos of the issue
  • Order details
  • Description of the problem

Our team will assess the issue and work with you on an appropriate solution.

Approved claims may be resolved through:

  • Replacement parts
  • Repairs
  • Replacement of affected items

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Minor cosmetic variations
  • Natural material characteristics
  • Weather-related changes
  • Damage caused after delivery

Installation & Assembly

Where installation or assembly services are provided, customers must ensure:

  • The installation area is prepared
  • Access is available
  • Required utilities or connections are ready
  • The site meets installation requirements

Alfresco Outdoor Living is not responsible for delays caused by site preparation, access restrictions, or incomplete installation requirements.

Order Changes

Any requests to modify an order must be submitted before production begins.

Changes may include:

  • Product configuration
  • Dimensions
  • Colours
  • Materials
  • Accessories

All changes are subject to approval and production availability.

Once manufacturing has commenced, changes cannot be accepted.

Pricing & Promotions

Alfresco Outdoor Living reserves the right to update pricing, promotions, availability, and product specifications at any time.

Promotional pricing and special offers are valid only during the stated promotional period.

Once an order has been confirmed and payment received, the agreed purchase price will remain applicable.

Customer Responsibility

By placing an order with Alfresco Outdoor Living, customers acknowledge and agree that:

  • They have reviewed all product specifications and dimensions
  • They understand outdoor materials may naturally vary
  • They accept estimated production and delivery timeframes
  • They have confirmed the product suitability for their intended outdoor environment
